PROVN Academy is committed to an environment in which children can train, learn and belong with their wellbeing treated as the first priority.
Our approach
- Training should be appropriate to a child's age, experience and readiness.
- Coaching should be respectful, constructive and centred on long-term development.
- Health concerns, pain and injuries should be raised rather than hidden.
- Parents should know how to contact the academy and feel able to ask questions.
- Any concern about a child's welfare should be heard and taken seriously.
Before a session
Tell the coaching team about any relevant injury, health condition, allergy or support need before participation. Make sure emergency contact information is current and follow the arrival and collection guidance shared for the session.
Raising a concern
If you are worried about conduct, communication, supervision or a child's wellbeing, contact PROVN Academy promptly at info@provnacademy.com or speak directly with the academy leadership. Provide the date, location, people involved and a clear description of what happened so the concern can be reviewed.
Immediate risk
If a child is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical attention, contact the appropriate local emergency service first. Tell the academy as soon as it is safe to do so.
Privacy
Concerns are handled as sensitively as possible. Information may need to be shared with the people or authorities responsible for protecting a child. Read the academy's privacy notice for more about website enquiries.
